    Díaz is trading jabs with Cruz as they step around the ESPN & Top Rank logos in center ring. Díaz is carrying the left hand low and waiting to snap his out when Cruz leads. Díaz floors Cruz with a PEACH of a counter right as Cruz is ramping a lazy jab at him from medium-close range. Díaz continues to work patiently with a workmanlike upright performance, everything coming off the jab.

    Díaz is jabbing to head and body, slowly rolling forward, twitching his left elbow up to block Cruz's jabs when necessary, arms low. Cruz is managing to counter the counter to his lead and time a few jab connects of his own. Cruz having a little success on the back-foot now, exploiting Díaz's low guard. Suddenly a big 1-2 puts Cruz down in a round in which he was otherwise improving quite a bit over the 1st. He's up, but paddle-balled onto the canvas again moments later, then saved by the bell.

    Teddy was going to be overwhelmingly bias like he was a poster on this site, ESPN could not afford more analyst going off script and voicing their own opinions at this time.
