    Well, that's what makes it an interesting match-up, I think. Both have some high points and some flaws, in roughly equal measure. If one looked ready to challenge for a world title already while the other was a major fixer-upper, it wouldn't be much of a brewing rivalry, would it?

    Nah, they always do. Par for the course, most of us are used to it by now and can tune it out. Though I can see how it would be a distracting visual to a newcomer to ESPN programming.
