Oh I saw them all of that. Hundreds of them just like that. And plenty of real nasty stuff said about Loma.

He said he would fight Floyd at 150. But at 152 he was drained?

Rig had moments where he nullified the angles and pivots....he was able to grab and hold to not get out of position a few times....but there were more moments where Loma was just too fast and got position on Rig. Rig held a lot because he was unable to cope with the speed and explosive footwork, coupled with the amount of punches and hand speed Loma produced.

When Rig ducked below the waistline and stayed there, he was kind of at a loss. He was waiting for Loma to throw punches at an extreme angle and possibly catch him with a counter where he was off balance but most of the time Loma didn't bite.

Rig didn't really land anything to really know if Rig had the power to hurt or gain Loma's respect or not? Rig didn't give himself a chance to prove that his timing, precision and accuracy would change the momentum or even break bones like he has before. That was unfortunate because he quit in a way that will make it very hard for him to get any other big fights. Too much risk and NO reward associated with Rig at this point.

Loma was always in Rigs range from the opening bell. He kept the fight in the center of the ring but Rig's timing and accuracy was off....it didn't help that the man in front of him was very elusive with his footwork and head movement....but Rig just wasn't prepared for the style Loma has. It's very unorthodox and awkward. The fact that he's a southpaw like himself possibly had an effect as well.

The 3 uppercuts was when Rig was in a defensive posture where he was bending over trying to evade and get under the previous combinations from Loma.

The size had absolutely nothing to do with the outcome of this fight. The height wasn't a factor...Rig has faced and beaten much taller fighters....it wasn't the weight....this fight wasn't a very physical fight with a lot of mauling, pushing and shoving on the inside. Rig was actually more physical on the inside with his excessive holding if we are honest about the action this evening.

Floyd vs JMM is very similar but like Loma/Rig.....size had nothing to do with how the fight unfolded. Floyd would have beaten JMM like that at any weight. Styles make fights and Floyd was just more dynamic just line Loma was just more dynamic

lol We're not going to get into this tonight.

But in short, yes. He said he would fight him at 150 years earlier when he was younger and was still growing, Team Floyd took advantage of that knowing full well what time it was.

But let's leave that for another day it's half past gloating.

Oh it matters, if it comes to styles. If Lomachenko was a pressure fighter with one punch KO power getting outboxed by Rigo before landing that one punch, or if he was leaning on Rigo to tire him out then you’d have a point.
Loma outskilled him, he was too fast for him and always one step ahead. Surely that shouldn’t happen to the smaller, more mobile fighter right? Just think a bit more.

Exactly. You need to think a bit more. Like I said to the other guy, how you take a punch and how your punch affects someone heavily influences a boxers fighting style. Rigo had to be reluctant and conservative or he'd risk getting floored or stopped. And yes that's his style, but we've also seen him take risks too, he didn't have that option here. The size was way too much of a factor.

Years earlier is the key. Floyd was considerably older and past his prime. But nobody ever factors that in. It was the young buck giving away the advantages they say. Floyd had all these physical advantages and waited for the young lions to get older (Floyd doesn't age apparently SMH).

Tell us how Floyd was much bigger than Canelo fight night. I mean Floyd looked like Loma in there vs Rigo right?

I never said that....But in certain fights, the weight doesn't play a role. Rig was getting hit and he didn't seem as though Loma's power was so overwhelming because he was smaller....what was overwhelming was the footwork, speed and combinations.

It wasn't a grueling, inside fight where there was a lot of mauling and shoving so the weight advantage wasn't a factor. The height wasn't a factor because Rig has faced and beaten taller men. Rig couldn't land and his timing wasn't there and that is accredited to the skill, style and athletic qualities of Loma.

Oh I heard plenty of ''Axe-Man was inactive'' and ''GRJ was drained'' this week too. I've read and seen a lot this week, stuff that had me wanting to go Eastwood on some clowns.

Of course it plays a role. How many times do I have to repeat this. How you take a punch and how your punch affects someone influences the style a fighter will use. Rigo was definitely affected and moved by Loma's shots in the 2nd round. I already predicted Rigo had no chance but with the slow 1st round, the 2nd round I knew it was over. Rigo couldn't risk fighting on the inside since Loma was just way bigger and overwhelm him so the only way he could win is to potshot and pick the perfect counter. We all know when you throw punches you leave yourself open to get hit with punches too.

Rigo is reluctant and conservative even when he is outclassing someone. Stop making weak excuses, it doesn’t look good for you.
