It's a good fight if Haney gets his shot first.

Funny that when Tank fought him, Cruz was a “C-level fighter”, “midget” and “bum”,

But if Loma fights Cruz, he’s magically now a top 10 fighter

Loma bitchslaps the poor boy for 12rds.
This fight does nothing for Loma, who is after belts. Come on George, fight Loma. Thats what the real boxing fans want.

Could it be because Cruz actually fight on even term with Tank recently?

It's almost like people underestimated him before the Davis fight.

Loma shouldn’t have to waste his time with a guy like Cruz but if they fought, Loma would give him a boxing lesson before taking him out. Loma would win every second of every round, every exchange and make it look easy. Hopefully Kambosos fights Loma next and doesn’t talk a big game while holding the belts hostage.

everybody tough till loma starts asking for fights... Haney and tank been around long enough to fight him but havent. Kambosos should fight loma to really stake his claim. Kudos to Lopez for actually walking the talk.

Actually this thread is pretty much valid, because there is a question of who will Loma fight next if none of the current top 5 in lightweight division want to fight him. Isaac Cruz is actually good candidate since he is among Ring top 10, but unfortunately he is not top ranker in any organization.

Loma is now #1 in WBO and WBC. Another name he can consider is Rolando Romero (#1 in WBA).

Lomachenko wins easily. He punches the ill-equipped Cruz into submission inside eight rounds. Cruz has nothing to offer in the way of beating Loma.

I agree. When your being pressure constantly, you don't have time to think as much. Plus Cruz keeps his chin tucked very well. Loma ain't knocking him out. It would be UD if Loma gets the win. People seem to forget Loma had problems with Salido constant pressure.

    Well...

Cruz rose to the occasion and elevated himself with his performance. Sometimes it's impossible to difficult to identify fighters that are going to be good until they put in that kind of electric and unexpected performance.

people seem to forget that salido came in about 3 weight classes heavier than loma. Cruz is the same size as loma so his pressure cant be compared to what happened in the salido fight. Additionally, the salido fight was his 2nd fight as a pro. This loma wont be flustered like he did 8 years ago. Loma tko or a near shutout.

All face forward brawlers give elite, aesthetically beautiful boxers a rough time. They refuse to give them the space they'd prefer. But yeah, it would ultimately be a very lopsided decision.

To be fair to oompa loomp Cruz, even though he had only stopped one of his previous five opponents, he did badly expose Twink and deserve the decision against him and I genuinely believe, and I think Twink genuinely believed it too otherwise he wouldn't have felt compelled to do it, he would've knocked Twink out had the later not grabbed a hold of him like an octopus all night to prevent him from unloading his combinations whenever he got into range and stiff-arm him to keep at bay all night.

But regardless of whether you feel Cruz was robbed or Twink just edged it by a point and didn't deserve to have points deducted for his incessant holding, stiff-arming and fouling all night which he unquestionably did, oompa loomp Cruz 100% would've won with a fair refee let alone a fair ref and fair judges. PBC gonna PBC though

Just because overrated Tank lost to Cruz doesnt mean Cruz even presents a challenge to Loma...
