Clinical and for the most part dominant performance for Usyk... He took a couple of rounds to figure out Mchunu as well.

Really good fight. I knew it wouldn't be easy Hunter is a very good fighter. Not sure why people thought it was going to be a walk in the park for Usyk. Hunter was a really good amateur who fought a lot of top quality guys and beat his fair share of them. He's got a great chin and he rolls well with shots. He fought SHW behemoths like Roberto Cammarelle, Tyson Fury, Islam Timursiev, Andy Ruiz etc. and did well against all of them. CW is a crazy tough division full of dangermen. It's going to be hard for anyone to dominate it. Usyk was under a lot of psychological pressure there. He stood strong though. He's too feisty though, lets his emotion get the better of him sometimes. Not too keen about the addition of Abner in his corner.

    I actually agree with this.

His conditioning and workrate is something else, but he takes a few rounds to get things figured out- the 12 round distance does him a disservice.

Hunter deserved to finish the fight. He was spent but not seriously hurt.

No way Usyk can get in there with Wilder or any other HW.

BTW the brunette round card girl waved at me after the 8th round.

Finally someone with a real opinion about it. Idk why everyone compares Joshua who moves like a robot around the ring with the CW division.

I have to wonder how Usyk might fare against someone who not only moves well, but who can also punch with real power. Briedis might give him some problems in a potential unification fight. But Usyk's got an insane engine and once he gets rolling he becomes very, very difficult to defeat.

People DKSAB. When you're completely fatigued and throwing combinations at the end of a tough 12 round fight your punches aren't going to have much on them. Usyk isn't a KO artist but he has good power. Hunter is also obviously very tough.

lmao if you truly believe Usyk would do better against Heavies, then explain why he doesn't move up. The HW division is far more prestigious, and there's more money there.
