I'd say that's Arum. Some old racist geezers are stuck in their ways. He didn't like Don King either. He damn sure doesn't like a younger guy like Haymon.
I'd take Lomachenko, Russell Jr., Rigs, and Walters over Santa Cruz. I'm not impressed with Frampton or Selby, and haven't seen much of Quigg.
I think it's Arum as well. I actually like what Haymon is doing. People are harsh on PBC, they've only been on for 5 months and have already given us good shows and fights. Arum is old school, he's not going to change and I doubt he retires. Instead of trying to work together, these guys are just trying to make enemies and in turn we as boxing fans are the ones paying for it.
Mares actually helped Leo more than he realized. Leo was never really pressed to box and although he had that skill, he never really used it. Last night he was forced to and reaped the benefits in a most positive way. I think that now, he will really sharpen those skills and the next time out we will see a truly more rounded fighter. Mares awakened a sleeping giant.
Loma can't be outboxed, maybe by Rigo, big maybe. But I think he can be outworked and LSC can't be outworked by anyone for sure. As great as Loma and Rigo are, like all great boxers, they meet their match with great pressure fighters. And LSC is showing glimpses of that.
