    Round 7

Pono walking him down still jabbing away Silverio lands a shot to his stomach, Pono lands an overhand right, Ortiz is attempting a jab here and there, Pono lands 2 hard jabs backing Ortiz to the ropes, he lands one two,, Pono hooks him to the ribs, his jab snaps Ortiz's head straight back, Ortiz wrestles a little with him and Pono pushes him back along the ropes Pono lands hard shot to his body, Ortiz fires back, Pono lands one two, , Pono lands short right on the button.

    Ponomarev 10-9

Ponomarev doesn't have much power and that is bad for Ortiz. He's landing consistently and Ortiz is taking all of it on the chin.

Gomez is a different level if he takes it actually seriously. He showed that in the Herrera fight, handled him EASY. I thought Benavidez would be the better pro, but it looks like Gomez is the future star.

He showed he can do more than brawl with his performance against herrera. Ponomarev gets hit way too easy, and doesn't have power. I'd like to see it.

If he wont fight Spence he wont fight Gomez, he might get in there with Benavidez. That's a close fight.

    Ponomarev 10-9
