LOL i won't lie - i thought about this one on saturday night.

Loma, i do not believe can carry the weight up to 135lbs (i said the exact same about pacquiao :(). Prime Duran at 135lbs was possibly the greatest boxer ever... nobody can handle that heat.

Are you insane.duran was part of the fab 4.its irrellavent that he struggled with far inferior opponents than lomochenko.if he wins every linear title to cruiserweight he will be just below duran.
Tbh id pick duran but with an open mind to the possibilities that he could losr

Dejesus was a very good fighter, one Duran obviously underestimated, but made it clear in the rematches by stopping him twice Duran was on another level. Many fighters could of beaten Duran, but not a prime one, 1976-1980.

Duran was 72-1 going into the Sugar fight. Now we're matching the Duran who had problems with other fighters at LW against Loma and Loma's fans want to forget about Salido. It never fails.

I'll speak on this mythical matchup when Loma beats a top guy at 168. Until then, just remember that Duran started at 115 and beat Iran Barkley at 160.

I got Loma by Salido getting disqualified for 50 low blows and coming in way past weight.

Then you haven't seen much of Lomo.

The best Duran beat at lightweight was Buchanan, and he needed a low blow to finish him. Lomo would beat Buchanan more convincingly.

Duran also lost to Esteban De Jesus, below 140 pounds. De Jesus while decent is not on Lomo's level!

Duran and his fans ignore facts. He was a great lightweight, not doubt there, but hardly superman has he was KO'd early by one punch and quit in high stakes matches. Examples: Hearns and Leonard.

I can think of 3 names off the top of my head that could handle the heat just fine, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Julio Cesar Chavez, and Sugar Shane Mosley at 135...
