...15 Rounds for the Lightweight Championship of the world.

Thoughts? Would Duran be able to negate Lomachenko's footwork, southpaw stance and speed?

I think Duran, whose rough unorthodox style, speed and power at lightweight would eventually grind down Loma and stop him in the later rounds.

Lomo is better than ANY light weight Duran fought, by a good margin.

Was the horse that Duran supposedly k.o.'ed, ranked in the Lightweight Division?

Lomachenko v Buchanan might be a lot more interesting...Duran would completely overwhelm him.

Lomo couldn't even figure out a well past prime, if not still game and dangerous, Orlando Salido.

A prime Duran chews Lomochenko up. If he can't handle the "rough stuff" Salido brought how is he going to fare in deep waters against an animal like a younger Duran?

He's actually done nothing substantial enough to even warrant serious talks about this match up, if we're going to be honest. The guys career is young and I've seen the likes of Marriaga hit and mark him up in the modern day, and I've already seen him lose within a dozen pro fights.

Was anyone making excuses for an 18 year old novice Duran when took on the far more experienced and already legendary fighter Ernesto Marcel a little over two years into his career? Did he need any?

I can't see any Feather or SuperFeather in history besting Prime Duran at LW. I wouldn't consider Loma be the best Duran faced, either.

Lomo would beat Buchanan and not need to low blow him to finish the fight.

I think Buchanan is the best Duran fought at lightweight. Can we at least agree with this?

Duran had trouble with speedy fighters who are hard to hit, which is part of Lomo's game.

I really, really like Lomachenko, but I'd like to see more of him before I start saying he beats Duran. If you don't mind. I really, really like Duran as well, mind you.
