No not many others.stop the bull**** and give me names!!!. The most of the chavez wins were against tamato cans club bums and taxi drivers
Your hatred for Chavez is mind boggling. You should put a picture of him on a dartboard or something and get some of that tension out!!!!!
I am not sure either I think it will depend on the Linares that shows up he isn't consistent in his fights I used to always think that Loma was getting overmatched but with the sheer dominance he has had now I can't see him getting beat in his current form......watching them matchup foot speed and movement styles against each other is exciting Linares hand speed I think Loma will have no issue with I think it will come down to control of range and ring control
I don't like these sorts of matches yet. Sanchez was a special fighter but Lomachenko appears superior in just about every facet, minus power, though I don't think that was too menacing. I've chatted with Ruben Castillo a few times and he said Arguello hit much harder and thought Chavez was better skilled than both. Sanchez did struggle with movers, too. Castillo and Cowdell gave him significant trouble. Obviously Vasyl isn't a dedicated boxer-mover, but he has that ability and his jab has improved in leaps since he first started.
Your exact comment was, and quote - "Sanchez was better mexican boxer than chavez who was only numbers against tomato cans" So no you are not right.
Chavez Had his share of stay busy fights against lesser opp. That was part of his old school approach by keeping the feel of the ring. He would also defend his title against some solid mid level guys like Terrance Ali, Sammy Fuentes, Ramirez, Lonnie Williams and Jon Duplesis.
I agree Sanchez was better but who exactly did Chavez avoid? Any body with 100 wins is going to have a lot of unknown guys on it. Archie Moore fought a guy in his debut after Koing Yvone Durelle. Everybody with a hundred fights had fights with no names.
It was easier for Julio to just fight often rather than have these extended training camps which cost $. By having actual fights he would make some $ and stay sharp. Many trainers will tell you that sparring isnt the same as being under the lights.
You will agree with me that a HUGE PART of the legacy of chavez was built based on his record(numbers). Every body have fought tomato cans in his career but one thing is facing cans in your early career when you are green and a different thing is facing bums or fighters in his debut wheb you are 30-0 and you should be defending only against elite. And he LOST against the only great fighters that he fought...
