I usually agree with your posts on most topics, but you’re on your own when trying to discredit JCC. In his prime, he was a BAD man. Trust that if he were around today, with Twitter, YouTube, and other forms of social media, he’d be headlining tomorrow (May 5) and in September, with Canelo fighting on his undercard.

And why you say that i hate chavez? He never did to me anything bad . i am only saying the truth but the people don't take pretty well when you mention anything bad from their favourite fighter(or one of them)

 

That’s why I said it was CONTROVERSIAL. The result is a merit of favor considering Pernell is an unquestioned ATG.

You’re talking apples to oranges. Most boxing fans consider JCC an ATG, whereas nobody feels that way about Chuvalo. Anyone who says Chavez only beat tomato cans clearly has an axe to grind with him.

Chavez was far from perfect and showed himself to be a sore loser. However, I stand firm in my opinion that prime JCC was one bad hombre. Even “The Mexicutioner” Roger Mayweather will tell you that YDKSAB if you disagree with me.

 

He beat Meldrick Taylor at 140lbs in his absolute prime. He beat the greatness out of him. Taylor was never the same after that fight. He also beat so many very good ones like Rosario, Mayweather, Camacho, etc.

 

I think it also helped him keep his weight down around fighting territory. JCC liked his Corona a bit. James Toney tried the same thing as far as staying busy and being old school but Burger King was calling him.

 

So according to you.. only if you are an all time great you deserves merit when you loses against a great fighter right?

Absolutely it was me. You are a hater of Chavez for sure, 100%. I'm not even a fan, he's just another boxer but i do believe in trying to give fighters their due.

There are numerous posts of yours slagging off at Chavez and making your utter disdain obvious. Slag him off all you like at least be honest to yourself and the forum
