He looks incredible. If he dominates a few more p4p fighters, you will be spot on

Fair enough, Lomachenko and godly skills, we've never seen him hit really much less hurt. But Gomez could do it all and cut the ring very well. He's never been really pressured that I've seen. At least not pressured effectively. GRJ or Rigo are the best Lomachenko has fought. Hardly body punchers and hardly pressure fighters. It will be interesting to see what happens when a great fighter really goes for broke against Lomachenko. Aside from Rigo I don't really reguard any of his opposition so far as great fighters. Though Gary Russell falls just below.

I don't know, I suspect that if somebody can body punch their way into a war with him the lack of power might be his downfall.

I can say it now after the way he beat Linares an elite talent that Lomanchenko beats Sanchez and with only 12 fights is if he retired now an ATG I will go on record now and say he beats Mikey Garcia at 140....the only thing Garcia has over Linares is consistency but he does not have the speed to outfight Lomanchenko maybe his intangibles and body punching would be the difference but I don't see it

Goddamn I called it after Rigo that we were watching an ATG. A lot of what I said held true. Body punching is his weakness and he overcame it against a bigger stronger guy who is nearly as fast. Still not sure I'd favor im over sanchez but Lomachenko showed more than just his talent tonight. Look for my article in a couple days.

Is it just me, or has anyone else bumped Loma up a bit today?

Yeah, Lomo is a great all right...and he could go on to be all these things that everybody is raving that he already is...but he ain't "there" yet IMO. There's no one that he's fought who is even remotely as good as Salvador Sanchez, to use only one example. At this time, Sanchez is still the best...until future notice.

Rigo's the closest but still way off Sanchez, maybe if he turned pro in his early 20s like 15 years ago he mate have cemented his legacy as one of the very best in the sport. Sadly for Lomachenko this win wasn't even as good as Mayweather over Marquez. Say he beat Mikey and Crawford then he can start entering the discussions as an ATG, but realistically there isn't the top quality opponents about these days because the best are never fighting the best, so we normally distinguish the best, by judging who does better against their over matched opponents.

I disagree, he's already re written boxing history, I already consider him an ATG. Not quite on Sanchez level but he's there. If he beats Mikey at 140 that's probably another record for fastest 4 weight champion. If he beats Spence or Crawford (aside from being a goddamned miracle) I wouldn't sneer at somebody calling him top 25 ever.

    Salido pressured him.

Too many mitigating factors for it to really put a damper on Loma. Salido was overweight, fought very dirty and still only came away with a close decision against a guy with 2 pro fights. It's really hard to hold that against Lomachenko.

I hate to sound like I'm anti-Loma, because I'm not. I just have to temper this premature talk about the guy being an ATG...this "he's able to beat anyone in history right now" type of stuff. For instance, if s mere Salido was able to do as well as he did vs Lomo, whether you think he actually won or not, what do you think would happen to Lomo vs a much greater Eusebio Pedroza? I think it would be the equivalent of a featherweight version of Marlon Starling-Mark Breland personally.

Swear down Broner is a 4 weight world champion and younger than Lomachenko

YOunger yes, but took more fights to do it than Lomachenko will probably have.
