:shakehead: Loma's respectful, doesn't talk trash (only occasionally in response after severe provocation), has had no run ins with the lawman for beating up women, regular citizens, driving under the influence or injuring innocents in hit and runs, he dares to be great and has taken risks like no other coming right out of the gate and, unlike so many of these multiple weight champion weight bullies, he's moved up in weight not once but twice for no other reason than pursuit of greatness not because he can't make weight and he's insanely talented with other worldly skills and poetry in motion to watch and wins fights though the application of pure skill and doesn't request or require any unfair advantage or deck-stacking.

In short. He's an all round class act in and out of the ring

People underrate Loma's power and chin. He hits harder than they want to give him credit for and he's fought a lot of punchers and has shown an excellent chin too when on the occasions when a few shots have been able to penetrate his sublime defence.

He's suffered one flash KD and one other, likely of the flash variety too, in over 400 fights when he got complacent and walked into a straight right hand down the pipe while his feet were squared up. Linares is quicker than SRR too

SRR was a great fighter. I don't take that away from him. But look at how many world champions Loma has fought in just 17 fights compared to how many SRR fought in 200 and SRR fought an awful lot.

    Loma at 135 = SRR at 175

SRR pulled a no mas in his only fight at that weight against a shot Joey Maxim and SRR even had a reach advantage over him

    Maxim 71½'' reach
    SRR 72½'' reach

Loma is routinely giving away between 2-6'' in reach. He was giving away 7.5'' in reach to Axe Man Walters

    Speed kills and Loma's speed>SRR's

If you pull a no mas once you'll do it again. That's the cast-iron law of no mas

And if you're pulling one against a shot Maxim who has an KO 18% then you can bet you're bottom dollar you'll be doing so against the Nomaschenko aka The No Mas King

Wow, there are 40 votes in this poll for Lomachenko or a draw. That's embarrassing.

The delusions among Loma fanboys, to think this thread actually exists. SRR is arguably the greatest ever who fought against hundreds of different styles and went an undefeated streak for more than 50 fights. Lomachenko is one of the most overrated fighters of the modern era who got beaten up by Lopez and lost to Haney. This wouldn’t be close, SRR would have smoked him.

Stupid thread. SRR was 5'11 with a 73 inch reach & was already a fully fledged MW by his early to mid 20s.. even a podgy old Loma is little more than a LW... Canelo & his like are the ones you should be fantasy matching Robinson with not FWs ..

Only possible chance Lomachenko has of beating Robinson is if he's facing the green Lightweight version who had just started his career. And given how Robinson has a better win in Angott at 135 than any win Loma has at the poundage, I'm not so sure he could do it. Any version of Robinson at Welterweight or above kicks Loma's cranium in.

Yeah this is a silly match up you're talking about the greatest Welterweight of all time, who wasn't exactly small at the weightclass and even fought as high as a Light Heavyweight.

Vs Lomachenko who started off as a Featherweight and who is a small Lightweight, and struggled with the size of someone like Teofimo Lopez.

Robinson by stoppage is the only right answer especially if its 15 rounds.
