    It's a common tactic on here to try and discredit a modern or current fighter. You often see these type of hypothetical threads appear after a current fighter has won a fight, struggled and had a poor performance, or lost. I don't like it either. The other side of the coin is every fighter throughout history has struggled in fights or performed under par and 99.99999% of them have lost or have been KD or knocked out, the vast vast majority of them more than once or many times.

    Yes, exactly. It doesn't prove anything.
