Who would win this match up ? i feel as if many lopez fanboys are jumping on the lopez bandwagon to soon and are saying that lopez would knock loma out. Me i think Loma would beat the **** out of this kid so bad that lopez fanboys would hide away into a rock
Lopez has the speed, size and power to give Loma trouble just the inexperience that will probably cost. The logical pick is Loma in a tough fight where he has to do some thinking to pull out the victory
Loma would humiliate and humble Lopez. Vasyl rises to the occasion for fights like this and Teofimo’s nasty attitude would just add file to the fire. Lomachenko stops him before the 9th while putting on a show. Probably a ref stoppage.
I think you're delusional if you think Lopez wins at this stage. Lopez would have to be an ATG already to be able to beat a fighter of Lomachenko's caliber RIGHT NOW with no experience fighting anyone CLOSE to that level. Lopez is 21. Has not fought anyone in the top 10 of any division. The very idea of a kid (no disrespect) beating someone that is in the conversation of being the #1 boxer alive, 2 time Olympic gold medalist, and champion at multiple weights while they are still in their prime is laughable
Lopez has the great equalizer in his right hand. It will be Loma who has to go thru fire to stop Lopez. This reminds me of what Ali had to go thru in order to defeat Foreman.
For guys who think Teofimo Lopez is going to wreck Loma with his powerful punches, have you all ever heard about this word 'defense' ? Do you think Loma will just stand there and gives his face to be hit for free ? Duran has hands that are as hard as stone, but he never knocked down Leonard. Canelo has monstrous strength but he was hitting wind and got played like kids by Mayweather.
Everyone has a kryptonite. I believe Teofimo is Loma's Marquez. I believe he has the power and speed to give Loma big time problems.
Lopez was incredible on Saturday but people are getting way ahead of themselves. He beat a fighter who suffered a 2nd Round KO to Terry Flanagan a few years back who he had size and reach advantages over. We need to see him step up against contenders before he's even ready to step into the ring with Loma nevermind being declared the winner already. Definitely an exciting prospect though, i'm especially excited that he's so young so used to fighters emerging at 25-27 in recent years.
