Vasyl 'Hi-Tech' Lomachenko is a versatile fighter with unique movement & angles. He uses this to befuddle opponents while applying pressure. He's a 3 weight division champion & had a lot of success for many years. However, his bubble seems to have burst. Lomachenko has shown that he struggles with pressure. An earlier loss to Salido was close & controversial - many feeling Loma was robbed & got cheated - the loss didn't hurt him too bad. But now, his sound defeat to Lopez has him back down the drawing board as some feel he was a 'hypejob' finally exposed.
    How does Loma fare against
    Nelson
    Gomez
    Duran
    Chavez
    Mancini
    Barrera
    Pacquiao
    Santa Cruz

Pac, Gomez, Duran most likely stop him. Barrera and Chavez both win a decision

Nelson loses a decision, just a bad style match up I think, can feel heat from this already though

Santa Cruz and Mancini, neither are on par with any of the above boxers, Loma wins hard fought decisions but could see Mancini eeking out a win as well.

Very concise post, very good, Lopez bear Loma, those fighters mentioned would do the same.

I think Lomachenko peaked a couple of years ago. A few bad injuries and the layoff plus Lopez’s size advantage had a lot to do with his slow start and ultimate loss. The Lomachenko who bedazzled Walters isn’t there anymore but unfortunately modern boxing being what it is, gives a small sample size of recent guys.

I would think at his best, Lomachenko edges Barrera and Nelson, probably just about edges Mancini, who’d have a size advantage (the Lomachenko from Linares probably isn’t near the one from Lopez) but I think he’d lose to a lot of the others. Gomez at 126 or 130 probably doesn’t beat him either. He didn’t really repeat his 122 form at the higher weights.

Leo Santa Cruz would be a very, very easy fight for Lomachenko. I could see Lomachenko setting him up for a KO.

I cannot for the life of me see Loma beating Nelson.

The Professor breaks him down and stops him.
