LOL You know if Sonsona won that fight we would have a bunch of pinoy fanboys disrespecting all over this forum. Im gonna refrain from all that nonsense but I just gotta say karma is a ***** aint it? Assero?
thanks for the video man. i thought sonsona would get a decision out of this fight, but i really hadn't seen enough of either of these guys to make an educated decision. i'm actually pretty glad sonsona got KO'd.
still waiting for this fight to get out on wbva this guy seems like a sound target for Rigondeaux to go get his 1st title who's his promoter?
I think Vasquez fought a very good fight. I will not take anything away from Junior-- he would beat Sonsona 10 out of 10 times no matter what. Sonsona is mostly hype. The kid has some raw talent but mentally he just does not have it. In Sonsona's prior fight I just saw laziness in him he struggled the entire fight did not show the talent it was said he had. He could not make weight and had trouble with a smaller man. I think he was looking past Jr. and paid dearly.
Sonsona was definitely pushed too hard too early. I predicted the "Pacquiao effect" a few months back: champ as a teenager but suffering a loss in a very short time. The teenager body is simply not ready for 12 hard rounds of punishment, especially not to the much weaker body area. Pacquiao himself was stopped early and now Sonsona suffered the same fate. I have no idea why his team pushed him for the title 3 divisions higher where he fought just one year ago, but they're gonna match Sonsona properly from now, let's just hope this loss didn't ruin him mentally.
Vazquez seems tio be a very good body puncher. In his only other fight I've seen (against Mexican vet) he scored a bodyshot KO.
What the hell was sonsona doing with his guard up that high, exposing all his ribs, it was like asking for the glass body to be smashed
Thanks man! Well placed body shot... Do you think this guy has the tools to become a puertorican star?
