Vazquez lashes out at Arce!

    Tired of the continuous taunting and calls to fight, WBC junior featherweight champion Israel Vazquez has agreed to former world champion Jorge Arce's demands to fight. "It's getting ridiculous, at first when he started calling me out I didn't take him seriously but this has been going on for over a year now, always the same thing with him. It's like being in a schoolyard with the little guy egging on the bigger kid. Trust me, Jorge, I am not only bigger but better. Last night I went to see the Darchinyan-Mijares fight and on the way home my friends who watched your fight called and said you were calling me out before and after the fight. I watched the tape of your fight this morning and the announcers even said that during their pre-fight meetings that you were demonstrating to them what you would do to me."
    Arce earned a fourth round stoppage of Isidro Garcia on Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas to raise his record to 51-4-1 (39 KOs) and retain the interim WBA super flyweight title. "He's fighting two weight classes below me and he wants to just jump up and face me. If he's serious, I am more than ready to fight him. We both have a lot of fans and it's a big fight either in Los Angeles or Las Vegas. Normally, I wouldn't even care but I'm tired of Arce, tired of people asking me when I'm going to shut him up. My message to Jorge is watch my last fight with Rafael Marquez, watch very closely and decide for yourself if you really want to fight me.     I hope this doesn't get made for the sake of Jorge...Vazquez will beat him bad,he is bigger and probably better.Arce should go for Donaire,Darchinyan, those guys not Izzy

    Arce will get his ass kicked. Damn, one left hook from Izzy then it's lights out for Arce.

    Not that easy man,Arce can soak up punishment,it would be interesting for a few rounds but than it would be one-sided.

    He should stay away from vic and nonito too. He's a B level fighter
    i these lower weight classes. Montiel beats everyone from 115 on down.

    I agree that Arce can take hellish punishment but Vazquez will KO Arce and beat him up badly. Dumb move on Jorge's behalf.

    I think Montiel vs Vic will be a tough match to call. both fought z gorres and both did about the same in performance. Both very aggressive and vicious shots. I think Montiel have the edge.
