This is the kind of fight where people get permanently ****ed up.

Its clear that Arce is past it and way out of his element even at 115. I prefer this didnt happen.

 

yea, izzy's been in alot of wars and i don't see that many fights left in him. he does deserve an easy sellable fight before he takes on the monster that is juanma.

I love Arce but this would end his career. This is much worse than Pac vs Oscar.

 

It WILL be funny.

Israel will KO Jorge Arce with nothing but feints and lazy jabs.

 

It would be funny if actually Arce beat Vasquez.

 

That would just mean that the trilogy took literally everything out of him. He'd have to be 99.9% shot to lose to a prime Arce, let alone this shopworn version.

Screw that. This is exactly what I'd hoped for on Izzy's behalf. A nice, safe, low-risk high-reward (in terms of catapulting starpower) legacy fight. He's earned that, and if you don't think so, you need to go back and review his entire IBF title run. He hasn't got **** to prove. A Lopez fight or a 4th clash with Marquez would obviously excite me as a fight fan, but as a fan of the fighter, I'd be just as happy to see him gobble up some Arces.

 

And I believe everything he says. Does Arce have a deathwish or what?, Vasquez will beat the living hell out of him.
