Of course you can't couth that out. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN in this match and both fighters are excellent boxers. As I've said earlier, Rafael overall skill level is a bit highter than Israel's and you does not want to underestimate any guy named Marquez.

Still I have to go with Vazquez inside distance because these guys are real Mexican warriors, and once the beast is awaken inside their heart, it's an all-out war. They will throw A-BOMBS on each other and even if they're coming to box they'll have to realize that there's only one way to win this fight.

And we know which way it is!

    FOTY way!:happy

RM has to keep his left glove up in order to win the rematch. I think the Marquez brothers are great fighters. However, I think JJM is the best fighter in the past twenty years.

What a great pair of brothers!

You probably know that they virtually punched each-other up to the top. The best sparring partners they had were each other.

And they always HAD to surpass each other's success so when one brother pulled out a huge win, the other did everything to repeat or surpass it.

The top was last year when Rafael defeated Vazquez for the World SBW title and Juan Manuel defeated the great MAB. I like both. And I like Vazquez too. Soooo hard to pick a winner and to root for anyone. :good

VAZQUEZ: "This fight is the fight for the people"
MARQUEZ: "I'm waiting for March 1 to have a great fight. Obviously, the fans are the ones that are the winners"
SHAW: "I don't think this trilogy in my mind can be compared to anything... I believe that this might go down as the greatest trilogy of all time"

    Decission or T/KO . . . I'm picking Vasquez.

Rafa's back is against the wall . . . if he trades there's more chance that Vasquez puts him down than the otherway around. If he box . . . it can be closer but still I can see Vasquez winning more rounds on aggresiveness.

This guys are so even, the only thing to go on in a fight like this is a "hunch" and mine tells me Rafa outboxes Izzy this time around.

I've got Vasquez by UD as i think Marquez took alot of damage in the 2nd fight and he will come out very defensive and tentative.

Rafael Marquez sounds VERY confident as it seems he's gonna (or at least will try) to box this time. Quotes from ESB article:

"On fight night, I’m just going to get in the ring and fight intelligently. I’m going to fight how my team and I planned to do originally. This is the most important fight of my career because I can avenge my loss and once again be categorized with the world champions.

"This fight is going to have the same energy just as the past ones did. This time around the one difference is that I will fight intelligently. I didn’t do that on the last fight. I didn’t use my skills. Ultimately my skills and intelligence will help me to achieve this win."

“We both learned a lot about each other boxing styles from the past 2 fights. On my part, you will not only see my skill and intelligence but my dedicated desire to win and persevere. This is going to be the fight of my life.”

Will he able to use his skills though?

Its so tempting to pick Rafa Marquez. Actually its the obvious choice due to his technical ability being better than Vasquez's. However in both fights i saw Vasquez get hit with everything clean and he was never in serious trouble. but when he would land clean RM would stagger and would be in trouble.
This is truly a 50-50 fight. If Marquez can stay away from that left hook he is in good shape and could take a UD or maybe a late round stoppage.
If he gets caught with it just once would be enough to put him in serious trouble.

This is what a real fight is. Fights like this dont come along very often at this level of the game.
Also this fight is for immortality. Good thing is both guys have earned it, not just the winner.

after the second fight, I dont want these two fighting anymore. There is a such thing of too much of a war. They both hit too damned hard and I love Raf Marquez and dont want to see him in diapers in his thirties. They went to wars with no real breaks in between. Thats not how its down.
