vazquez has a very nasty cut in there. both suffered some brutal face injuries. i just hope that its all superficial.

 

Not trying to take away but I think these guys cut easy. They have been bleeding since the moment they met.

 

If Izzy retired after this fight, I wouldn't blame him in the least. No man wants to take that kind of sustained punishment. I don't care how much of a warrior you are. He has a family to think about too. The man is probally close to blind right now from the swelling.

Marquez's face will be a melon tommorrow as well. Left eye completely shut. This fight took a lot out of him as well.

 

Yeah but it is usually not as bad til the next day. I can't imagine what their faces look like right now.

The fact that it has happened before doesn't diminish the type of war that these two engaged in, and three times.

 

How can anybody NOT have respect for these two? They've given so much of themselves, it's unbelievable. Calling them warriors doesn't do them justice!
