Great, Great fight. As much as i'd love to see a 4th, I hope they don't do it, somone might end up seriously hurt.

 

those cuts on vasquez's eyelids were like water faucets during the fight.

 

Vasquez has always been prone to cuts and has alot of scar tissue around his eyes. If he retired right now id have no problem with it.His health is far more important.

Dumbass. The difference between lighter division fighters and HWs is that any HW can get knocked out by the type of clean punches these dudes were landing, whereas little guys typically hit hard to do massive damage, but not one-punch KOs like in the HW division.

HW power is something completely different and it's devastating. A persons chin doesn't changed based on weight or size either. Some dudes can take massive shots, and it doesn't matter if it's from a MW or HW, like James Toney for instance.

Just like you would never see guys landing punches like in this fight at SMW, LHV or CW either, because someone would get KO'd real quick unless they had an otherworldy chin like McCall or Chuvalo.

When fighters at heavier weights fight like this, someone gets wrecked badly and stopped rather violently, i.e., Hagler-Hearns, Benn-McClellan, etc.

 

Vazguez/Marquez was one fantastic fight. I really think there will be a fourth one.
