Mares has a good future. Perez had just beat King Kong. He must have been top 2 in the division so that make Mares top 3 IMO. Like someone said, maybe Mares/Moreno will crown the challenger to Montiel to become the man at bantam.

 

It's not like Perez was landing at will for those 2:30 and was up ahead by a country mile.

Besides this is something not worth getting worked up over. A rematch is should be in-order here would you agree?

Well if they are willing to fight again if marquez wins, it behooves both fighters if Marquez wins. More money for both. Let us be honest both these guys are nearing the end and where would they get a better pay day then against each other.

Daym.. I knew Mares was going to come back hard late for a late rnd tko, but I was wrong.

 

:yep I always knew she was a cool person apart from being a gorgeous woman.

 

I think Mares did enough to scrape it but a draw definitely wasn't an injustice as it was an incredibly close fight, a couple of rounds were tough to call. Bring on the rematch. Fantastic fight. Props to both.
