I have Vea in front...and yes he needs 10 weeks off before sparring again

 

Yeah agreed dawsosj, I think it's one of the first times I have turned away and thought '****, this is a bit much'. Has Dom won the battle but lost the war? 10 weeks ash? Maybe 10 months .

 

definitely lost in terms of his future cut resistance, that cut on the bridge of his nose was so deep it wouldnt stop bleeding.

As brutal as it gets I commend the ref for not freaking out and stopping the fight,talk about digging deep even vea's trainer in the 9th rnd said go for it as they were going to stop it on his cuts,should have said go for it after a good shot was landed,absolutly needs atleast 6 mnts off for everthing to get back to normal,he's the commonwealth champion an respectfully deserves a rest!Which was well deserved and earned!!

 

Great fight for sure....was a brutal war....dont know if Vea can afford to take half a year off boxing but he needs it

Yeah it was huge....hard call for the ref with that much damage to Vea...hate to be a judge or ref.

Insane bloodbath last night, 1 of the more intense main events on FOX in years.
Good viewing & i had mates calling me who aint huge boxing fans loving it, which is always a plus at making new fans.

 

Missed the main as I was on a promise. Medley went well but real story for me was The Chainsaw turning back time, jeez he went well

 

Rob did look very good....Josh went far better than I expected....congrats to LB for taking the fight after the loss :good

 

Man what a fight, hats off to both lads, this is why boxing is so great. I loved it.
