Sahaprom's initial title-winning effort versus the very skilled and sadly somewhat forgotten southpaw pressure fighter and two-time bantam titleiist. Lovely fight with lots of skilled back and forth exchanges.

Bump. Thoughts on either fighter if you don't have time or the inclination to watch the fight?

Hey @Tin_Ribs. Just got finished watching this. Awesome bout, full of technical exchanges.

Death Mask was really something at his peak. Crazy to think this was his fourth pro bout, even with all his thai experience. He really was skilled, with and underrated defense, and his right was actually better than his left.

Daorung also seems like a very skilled fighter in his own right. Might have to look him up further.

What I noticed in this bout was that Veeraphol managed to change the tempo, and stifle Daorung's offense, by splitting his jab with the right hand. Nearly all of Daorung's offense began with a right jab or hook, so he was relegated to trying to counter the right with body shots, or try to split it himself, which he couldn't do. I think this was the subtle factor that allowed Death Mask to win.

    Cheers.

Bump. This deserves more attention. Very good, competitive, clean technical fight with nice exchanges. Incredible that this was only Sahaprom's 4th fight and already looks great boxing. One of those fighters that was able to transition seemingly well between Muay Thai and boxing.
