As per title really, I've been looking around and you guys have also helped steer me toward some great gloves - at this stage though i'm reluctant to spend too much on gloves to then find out in 6 months i'm not into it. So, I've found what look to be a decent enough middle of the ground. Venom Challenger 2.0 anyone used? any thoughts? £40 a pair which is perfectly in budget, the Mrs can have the same so i'm in her good books too. Essentially, if they last me 6 months of bag work and a bit of sparring i'm happy. Can then see what I want after that, hopefully with a better idea of the things i'm looking for. Also will get some wraps of course.
Got the 16oz ones couple weeks ago. Probably what you're looking for. Much better than the crap Everlast sells for similar prices.
Solid gloves. Can't complain, using them for on the heavy bag wit 14 oz. For sparring i am using the RDX F7 Ego gloves (16 OZ). Very, very, very good boxing gloves imo for a very good prize.
I spoke to my Trainer who suggested Geezers TRG gloves - £20 so a bit of a bargain, now they're for normal club duties so built pretty well - should see me through 6 months then I can go a bit higher on the price band. Wanting to ensure I Stick to this then I can reward myself with something nicer.
