Where do people think Groves v Smith will take place? The cruiserweight final is in Saudi Arabia but I presume this will be staged in the UK.
To keep it neutral I don't think they can go London or Liverpool so how about Birmingham or is it big enough to be a stadium fight somewhere as its probably going to be in the summer now.
    Any thoughts on this?

They had the O2 booked for June but Groves has put in for a one month extension for his shoulder injury so final will be in July.

Iv'e also heard rumours of Anfield. Dont see neutrality as an issue given the venues of the quarters and semis.

    Keep it neutral ...
Come back to Manchester ... mostly for the fact it’s my hometown and I’d love tickets

02 was always the venue and imagine it will stay in a London as Kalle will want to aid his fighters chances and who can blame him.

What we do we think this sells? Would this sell out the o2?

I think this fight would sell out the O2, Manchester Arena or any other UK arena that holds around 20,000. It's the right time of year for a stadium fight, just not sure it would do those kind of numbers in ticket sales.

Promoted right this could do 40k tickets. Groves has sold out Wembley before and no he’s back on the cusp of stardom. Put it at Anfield and Smith will be a draw too. 35-40k I’d imagine.

It's possible. It could be wise having it at Anfield or Goodison for the extra Smith fans, because I think Groves is the draw in this fight and his fans are more likely to travel, no matter where it's held.

Groves is a Chelsea fan and will bring a big following, might not be a sensible move booking Anfield.

That's why I think Anfield or Goodison Park could be a good shout ticket sales wise, because Groves will bring a big following no matter where it's held. I'm just not sure Smith fans would travel to Stamford Bridge, or anywhere else other than maybe Manchester, to support Smith like Groves' fans would.

    Stick with the o2...

I agree. I hate boxing shows in football stadiums. I think it should and probably will still be at the O2. Pretty much a guaranteed sell out and a great atmosphere. Same at the Manchester Arena, but they won't have it there with that already having the Groves vs CEJ semi.
