    Jaysus he brings out the haters! Awesome guy and one hell of a fighter who will leave a great legacy over his whole career. Still reckon Whittaker beat him, but maintain he beat trinidad and Mosley (the second time, first time Shane handed him his nuts),he has given some great performances, fought some of the biggest names and changed the face of the game with his promotional company and how fighters get treated

    Yeah i just do not like the way he acts,

    he is fighting a smaller pacquiao and acting as though he is the one with the bigger challenge.

    To me he is just an attention *****.
    An also tries to sway peoples opinions, eg trying to convince he is better than floyd cos floyd is afraid of losing etc.

    It's called promoting the fight mate. A prime De La Hoya would have not entertained fighting a feather but Oscar is at the end of his powers TBH. I also think he has a point about Floyd as well, he has always been safety first and his biggest fights cannot compare in excitement to some of Oscars - what would you rather watch?
    De La Hoya V Quartey or Floyd V an aging Oscar?
    " " V Chavez or Floyd V Zab Judah?
    " " V Gonzalez or Floyd V Baldomir?

    Know where I would be putting my dollar!

    Haha, yeah he has been in some good fights, but i just do not like him.

    Out of those fights i choose the zab judah one over the chavez one.
    Have not seen him fight Gonzalez.

    To me he just wants to be the centre of boxing attention and doesnt want to let go. All his talk about a final fight, etc just to keep his name in the limelight. Just wants everything in boxing about him.

    Also my Floyd comment about safety comes into my other comment of him trying to con the public, by saying Oscar stating that Floyd is safety first but i am not so therefore i am better than he is. Why even mention Floyd in the first place oscar. To me his point was not about Floyds style as such but trying to convince everyone to rate him higher since he has been in slugfests.

    Also all those fights except Quartey (inactivity) he was the bigger stronger guy, Floyd has been in some exciting fights too, albeit down at 130 and 135.

    I thought Mayweather-Judah was an absolute snoozer! I've got no problem with a fighter taking less risks as he gets old but not in his prime and that is my point. Oscar earnt his stripes with the tough fights throughout his career and let's be completely honest what fighter really wants to give the limelight and buzz of centre ring away? Can't think of many TBH
    The MAG fight was a good one and one I enjoyed, probably one of his more kronkalicious performances against a very very tough foe who was there in every round. Not massively exciting but a very intriguing fight nonetheless.
    Condemned prisoners should be forced to watch Mayweather-Baldomir but Amnesty International would never allow it.
    Another issue is Oscar always conducts himself with class in and out of the ring, Floyd can't say the same: deliberately dropping large amounts of money just so he can draw attention to himself and big-note himself by saying it ain't worth picking up is anything but in my book

    For me the Zab fight was always can Zab catch him and seeing how the first 4-5 rounds were close then he took over the fight, and gotta love the brawl.

    But for me oscar seems fake.

    Its cool though thats what makes us fans, we see every fighter different.

    Well you're not quite as Kronkalicious as you have the temerity to have an opinion that differs to mine - Imagine!
    But I have to agree and it's what I enjoy about forums is, for the most part, you can get some really good debate going.
    I guess in the long run Robot your Kronkin enuff, but Kagsy is well on the outer till he changes that fecking avitar
