It looks like is a done deal. One hell of a fight if you ask me. But also a very stupid move by the promoters. Verdejo is a hell of a fighter. If he is ready for the step up it will be great for him. But if he fails it might affects his career big time. Pedraza could be making pretty decent money with other fighter rather than fighting against Verdejo. As good as he is, he doesn't have many fights and his monetary value isn't big yet. At the same time, its a very dangerous opponent. Your opinions...
Are you sure this is true? Felix Verdejo and Jose Pedraza are both great prospects especially Verdejo so seems strange to match them together so soon and it's major leap in Verdejo's recent competition. Great fight if it's made though and the winner would definately become of the the best prospects under 25 in world boxing.

Newspaper just changed the title from: "Fight between Pedraza and Verdejo" to "Pedraza and Verdejo will be active in the undercard.
Yeah they're taking on respective TBAs, with a Yuri-Foreman-Jorge Melendez fight. If that's the full televised undercard, it makes Mayweather-Maidana look like a classic loaded Don King card.
