Not as chinny, MM is as legit puncher as they come, it's just a very large part of his game plan revolves on the threat of his power and not getting countered because of that.

Fights like this are the difference between a career like Oscar de la Hoya's and a career like Francisco Vargas'.

Nah.. that is yet to be seen. Crawford will ruin ortiz. This isnt a young Fernando Vargas, not even close. Hed be better off continuing to build up his resume and experience.

Ortiz vs Thurman would be a great fight at this stage.

Good finish and performance. I don't read too much into him getting hurt because Egis is one of the hardest punchers in the division and bangs very hard with both hands. Weird how no one ever mentions his hand speed because Egis puts those combinations together smoothly with power and speed. He was in big trouble in that round though and for a split second I thought he was going to go. But he fought smart and kept his hands up and avoided getting into exchanges with Egis and broke him down methodically.

Oscar was hit early on in his career, but came back to become a legend.

Great interview...Ortiz is a real dude, hope he gets his shot at Crawford or any of the PBC stable (not likely, but we can hope)

I'll say what I said before, a very large part of his game revolves around the threat of his power and not getting countered due to it, the day he fights someone who can he'll lose , otherwise there's always matchmaking to come to rescue.

Crawford was dropped for real. Ortiz basically swung and missed and fell over.
