Kaval is a tough fighter but he’s getting a little too much respect here. I’ll be shocked if he beats Ortiz. Ortiz is special. Won’t be easy but there can only be one winner here.

I'll be shocked if Kavaliauskas last 9-10 rounds against that real machine Vergil Ortiz.

Where he's getting credit? He punches like a mule and arguably dropped Crawford. So yeah...he's getting some respect for his tremendous power. Skill-wise he's crude and basic. Ray Robinson boxed his ears off. And Ortiz Jr. is stylistically a guy who can get hit very easily. So yeah...people give Kava some respect. For a reason. Stylistically this is a pretty solid fight for Kava but i agree...Ortiz should win.

That’s like saying Bud isn’t special. Open your eyes.

Crawford wont take the fight, if Ortiz smashes through Kava. Ortiz has to look Vunerable tonite for Crawford to even consider fighting him. Imo

Definitely, I think while stylistically Kavaliauskas gave Bud some problems, he lasted as long as he did because Bud is cautious by nature early. But the Mean Machine is frail and I've been saying that for years, the moment Bud turned on the heat, he had him flopping all over the place. Vergil will bring the heat from the opening bell, and that won't bode well for Egid's long term chances.

Interesting. Id give Ortiz mad props if he stopped kava in 2, and if that happens i expect Crawford to go into hiding.
