This will be the ultimate chin check for Vergil Ortiz Jr. He's damn hittable, got tagged quite a bit by almost everyone. If he can take the power of Egi and stops him he's 100% the biggest prospect P4P in boxing right now. I'm REALLY REALLY curious for this fight because i think Egi really hits like a truck and i think Ortiz is a very favorable matchup for him. If Ortiz passes the test he's more than legit... SUPER pumped for this one and it's live on DAZN so HELL YEAH i'm going to watch this.
Hey butt have you watched Quigley vs Mosley Jr? It was on the Haney- Linares undercard . Superb barn burner of a fight,both were counterpunching quite well .
One thing I dislike a bit about Ortiz is his defense he does get hit clean at times , he doesn't need to have a Mayweatheresque defense but he does need to learn to incorporate slight waist movement in his arsenal .
Tough test for Ortiz EK will bring out the best in him. If Ortiz looks impressive he will put pressure on Ennis to look good in his next fight which he looked great against Lipinets in his last fight. Ortiz-Boots Ennis next year please!
They don’t do that on our side that’s only the UK that match their top level prospects. Our guys just wait and fight for vacant belts so I wouldn’t expect Ennis vs Ortiz for at least another four years and it’ll probably be at 154.
