Headlining a card this Saturday, eighth of July, on DAZN. WBA world welterweight title at stake, 1st defense of Stanionis. Ortíz is the organization's number one ranked contender, and their inaugural (and to date only ever) "Gold" champion at 147lbs.

Marlen Esparza vs. Gabriela Celeste Alaniz is chief support in a women's flyweight unification. Also featuring on the undercard will be Jo-Jo Díaz, looking to snap a three loss skid against Jerry "The Joker" Pérez.

Should be a great fight for dedicated fans. I'm leaning toward Ortiz but not sure yet.

Undercard is terrible, especially the co-main.

Fight of the year, cannot wait. I favor Ortiz, but lots of factors at play with his recovery from 2 bouts of rhabdomyolysis and how he makes the weight. Stanionis is a dog, excellent jab, Butaev fight showed his heart and chin as Butaev pulled every dirty trick in the book.

Gun to my head, I'd say Ortiz decision. I expect it to be a very close fight, and with Ortiz as the home fighter I expect him to get the nod. Rooting for Stanionis though, love his style.

Having some folks who don't follow boxing watch this fight so I hope it lives up. FOTY on paper. Vergil is a beast and Stan was very impressive in the Butaev fight.

FOTY right here. I’m rooting for Vergil, think he has a little more tools in the box. Definitely not looking past Stanionis though, I’ve been watching him for a few years and the guy is a beast. It’s a fight he could very well win. I’m flying out to Texas in a couple days to see it in person, just couldn’t miss this matchup.

Last I checked William Hill had Ortiz at -420 and Stanionis at +320. Either way I see your point and the odds speak for themselves. Ortiz is favored and rightfully so.

I feel Ortiz will do to Eimantas, what he did to his compatriot.

    Good fight though

That guy is A LOT slower though, and still gave ortiz some trouble. Smart money is still on ortiz however.

Rooting for Stan who will have to stop him to get a V.

Those were from bookmaker.eu, but I think them, FanDuel, WH, etc are pretty much all in the same ballpark.

Gosh, those odds seem a little high to me. Not even worth betting on Ortiz.

But still closer than the massive odds in favor of Boots. You would think Villa is a scrub. He's not elite but he's a solid fighter. Tells you what the boxing public thinks of Ennis's talent.

Interviewer is hot. She would definitely be eligible for the 25% discount for one of Serge's elite level bedroom workouts
