R4 Hooker, still weary of Ortiz's power but Hooker found a groove and Ortiz struggling to get close with anything rn

If anybody scored the third for Mighty Mo, they fell into the "improvement = success" fallacy. Much better effort and execution from Hooker than in the 1st or 2nd, but - still plenty of hard, effective, clean stuff from Ortíz (who also remained the ring general overall despite the quick footwork of Hooker stymying him for a second here and there).

    2-2.

Ortiz is fun but a full step below Crawford and Spence

4 horsemen of Texas? Isn’t Crawford from Nebraska?

Ortiz is nice but he's not ready for Crawford or Spence. They both chop him up

Ortiz with some great power jabs, but the power is not affecting Hooker, and he got clocked with some good shot. Ortiz may be in trouble here. 2-2.

Hooker needs to put Ortiz down at least once if he harbors any illusions of getting a decision against Vergil in Texas. Feels weird to say that as Hooker is in his own backyard but all the $ is behind Ortiz.
