Just getting a chance now to score the fight.

Round 1 - Wow, what a horrible stoppage. Without looking at the replay yet, it sure looked like there were a couple of solid shots to Lawson's head and three or four good body blows but absolutely nothing stop-worthy.

I am a Tony Weeks guy but this was really bad.

A prediction page had him winning and they seemed super confident he’d do it

    Just checked Smogers Wiki.

Lawyer with a private practice and the prosecutor for AC.

    30 years Air Force reserves.

Inducted into the boxing hall of fame.

    Over 200 title fights.

Had the distinction of officiating in more states and countries than any other boxing referee in the history of the sport.

I particularly liked this little tidbit :

On September 23, 1982, in New Jersey Smoger was first licensed as a professional boxing referee by then Commissioner Jersey Joe Walcott. The happening marked the 30th Anniversary of Jersey Joe Walcott vs. Rocky Marciano for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the World held on September 23, 1952 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He should be allowed 3 minutes with Tony Weeks inside a steal cage

    I miss Mills…
He had integrity and a sense of command for someone so tiny…
He also had a better catchphrase than that dip**** Buffer…

I met Smoger at the banquet of champions dinner at the 2012 Hall of Fame…
    He was a nice guy…
Buddy McGirt was at the table beside me and was drunk as f**k!!! He was hilarious and having a great time!!!
Terry Norris and Marlon Starling were the two friendliest.
Starling is still sharp as a tack…
I wish I could say the same for Norris as he was really nice but his eyes are vacant…
