I hate these early towels being thrown let the man go out on his shield. It wasn't like Ortiz was going to start gunning for the head when McKinson's body is compromised.

A brave effort by McKinson. Ortiz looked great tonight.

I think McKinson said he damaged his hip.

He still can't put a lot of weight on that right side.

He handled The Mean Machine with the same amount of ease as Crawford, and feasts on slick fighters. Yeah... Levels, and Ortiz is on his.

Nah he was right to throw the towel in. What's the point of letting him continue in that state. He was definitely getting KO'd in that round.

It looked like a delayed reaction from a glancing hook.

I'm not sure if it was fighting a southpaw, the layoff or how much of a cutie pie McKinson is but Ortiz certainly does not look ready to fight Boots Ennis let alone Crawford or Spence.

    Nice win by Ortiz.

His body attack broke McKinson. He's good, but his footwork is his weakness. His power is not vicious like Wilder, Beterbiev or Inoue, but it's good.

Reminded me of Donaire-Burnett. Always thought it was Nonito's work to the body that caused Burnett's (ultimately career-ending) injury in their fight.

Didn’t even get into 3rd gear. I like this more methodical Ortiz. He knows he’s got those extra gears and is pacing himself better.
