    Would've =/= did.

    Who did Forrest beat other than SSM that tops what floyd and lil pac have done?

    You're saying he's the fighter of this era, not them?

    He means at 147.

    Forrest beating a prime undefeated Shane Mosley is better than anything Pac and Floyd have done at 147.

    it seems like people think that guys who can jab or counter or are fast will always beat manny in fantasymatches. I think pac is very much capable of beating forrest. And forrest is very much capable of beating pac, it would be a good fight but I dont think he would shut him out.

    Wow,, why wouldnt Pac have any chance of beating Forrest? especially at 147. Respect to the dead, but Vernon isnt even great. A very basic fighter, in my opinion. :huh

    Perhaps if Pac ever fought someone that could jab or counter and/or are fast, we wouldn't have to talk about it in fantasy matchups.

    :huh I never implied Forrest was the best fighter of this era. The poster who said Forrest beating a prime, undefeated Mosley is better than anything Floyd or Manny have done at 147 is what I was getting at, and the fact that Forrest at his peak would've beaten everybody Floyd and Manny did at 147 (probably even more impressively in some cases).

    For Mayweather and Pacquiao, a lot of their greatness comes from fighting at a high level at so many weight classes and beating good/excellent fighters (Mayweather) and good/excellent/the occasional great (Pac) throughout their careers at these numerous weight classes. But at ww, they are not head and shoulders above Forrest. They've done NOTHING at the weight to prove it to me. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

    They're obviously better fighters p4p than Forrest and can do things he could've only imagined, but take the viper's physical advantages, height, long jab, long/powerful right hand, and other quality skills and it would've been a very tough night for them...imo, too much to overcome those advantages Forrest would've enjoyed.

    Why do old and dead fighters get so much overrating on ESB, that's the point I'm getting at. So...when Floyd shut old man Mosley out...people called Mosley a crude brawler, no jab, never a smart fighter ect, but a prime Mosley is suddenly better than anything Pac or May have done or could conviecably do at the weight? Can we finally get over this whole, last generation of WWs were far superior to this generation? No they weren't. Simple as.

    Floyd gave Baldo a beating worse than Vernon did, and Vernon fought Baldo right after lil Floyd did. Then Floyd beat the **** out of Judah. Then Floyd beat Hatton, and too much is being made of the size difference there. Then Floyd beat JMM and SSM. I don't see Vernon's wins of young SSM as topping that. I can do the same with Pac btw.

    Has nothing to do with Forrest being "old" or dead :lol:

    If people were saying those things after Mayweather beat Mosley, a lot of them are true...and they were true when Forrest beat him too. Difference is that Forrest beat him nearly a DECADE before. A ****ing decade ffs. Mosley's physical ability and gifts have faded a **** load since then. Stevie Wonder can see that.

    Again, how is a win over JMM at 147, or a win over Judah, or a win over Hatton, or a win over SSM in 2010 better than a dominant win over a prime Mosley? Okay, Mayweather's resume or Pac's resume may have more recognizable names at 147, but there isn't a SINGLE performance as good as Forrest's best...or a performance that indicates they were much better than Forrest as you seem to think.

    Yeah, but they're consistent dominations. One after the other.

    Yes, I'm aware lil Floyd beat SSM a decade and a string of loses after, but he beat the man coming off a sensational victory, and damn near two years to rest and recover. Plus, like I said, if you wanna look at common opponents, Floyd shut out Baldo and Vernon couldn't, and Vernon fought him after Floyd beat that brain in with about 100 counter rights.
