Great video as always Rummy. I still remember watching Vernon whup Mosley in their first clash. I watched it with my mates and told them all to watch Sugar Shane closely as he was the best fighter in the business. The scorn I received as Vernon proceeded to kick his arse is a lasting memory. Hard to imagine Vernon has been gone for over 10 years already. Such a waste.
Thank you. I have a nearly identical story as yours. I had a bunch of friends over for the first Mosley-Forrest fight. Some were boxing fans, but most were not. I was telling everyone how awesome Mosley was, and I too received a lot of mocking as Vernon proceeded to dominate Shane. Yeah, and it's crazy. 10 years in a snap.
The first Mayorga fight was the one that left me completely flabbergasted. Nice work. I enjoyed the video.
I was completely blown away by his first fights against Mosley and Mayorga. Totally unexpected for me. That 4-fight stretch for Vernon was so captivating for me, because even with the rematches, I had no idea what to expect in either of them.
