Some of you may be interested in this...hope I am not re posting... accomplice to the gunman who killed Forrest was sentenced to life in prison without parole yesterday. The trigger man will be sentenced next week, the attorneys will seek the death penalty. On the night of July 25, 2009, Ware robbed Forrest at gunpoint, taking the boxerÂ’s gold championship ring and Rolex watch. Forrest would produce his own handgun and give chase to Ware, who ran and hid in a nearby apartment building. After giving up the chase, Forrest started to make his way back to his car when he was shot twice in the back by co-defendant Charman Sinkfield, who then walked up to the fallen fighter and unloaded eight more shots. After the murder, Sinkfield, Ware and a third co-defendant, Jquante Crews, would flee the scene of the crime in CrewsÂ’ car.
Let them rot, being an aquarian myself I can almost dictate the event step by step. If I heard right Forrest had a child in the car or his son........our torlerance is short for disrespect and even though we are extremely level headed we can sometimes make ourseleves oblivious to our surroundings until we have satisfied our focus. Forrest was hell bent on teaching the low lifes a lesson though unfortunately for him the tables turned.
On the real, Forrest should have just took the loss, and went about his business, dude made millions upon millions fighting, that cowboy stuff get people killed everyday. But nevertheless, he was a good dude, RIP
I think that never say die attitude Is what made him A great fighter. Its a shame anyone has to go like that
That was justice. This was a sad thing to happen. Hopefully, Forrest makes it to the H.O.F. one day soon.
These afro-american gentleman seem to be into the saguine and materialistic. A little intellectual dexterity and acumen wouldn't overtax their intellects, limited as they may be on the cerebellum storage capacity front.
Bittersweet seeing Vernon's name. Did an interview with him that eerily foreshadowed events: http://www.FightBeat.com/garfields/viper.htm
Forrest was a fighter in and out of the ring the man wasn't going to let these guys get away with it. Why you can't see this I have no idea?
RIP Champ! I admire Vernon Forrest for not only what he did inside the ring, but for what he also did outside of the ring.
Quit trying to use those big words. It took you what? Six years to put that paragraph into context, and another six to post it on ESB. I'll anxiously await your intellectual response for late 2023.
