[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzzYlMfkbJ4[/ame] Power. There is no way Floyd could do this to Mosley. And there is no way Floyd would have survived this Forrest considering he would get hit almost as much as Mosley and wouldn't have got back up.

And this was prime Shane Mosley. In his prime Mosley was faster than Floyd ever was as you can see.

Vernon is just an awful, awful fight for Floyd...but I think it could go either way to be honest.

that's the downside with fantasy fights. any moron can say floyd wins by UD and not be proven wrong. no matter how clear it is that floyd won't be able to handle vernon's power, speed, and size.

I honestly don't think you could find a worse style match up for Floyd in the history of the welter weight division, even Tommy Hearns just because Tommy could more easily be lured into a brawl. Tommy was a better fighter but Vernon was capable of disciplined boxing for an entire match.

And yes I also believe prime Mosley was faster than floyd in terms of body and foot movement. Floyd edges him in one punch hand speed however, but Mosleys combos were also considerably faster than Floyds.

You reckon Floyd would want to lure Tommy into a brawl?

Forrest racka the discipline in a few fights.

Well he racked da discaprine against Mayorga, a ****ing wild man who was begging to get KOed with how open he is. Agaisnt Mosley, his biggest fight and and Ike, he boxed the entire fight basically. I think Tommy would go in and try to take Floyd out right off the bat or after a few rounds... and he could very well have succeeded.

Forrest. Forrest had extreme height and reach over Floyd and no, Corrales does not compare to Forrest at WW. But I don't think he's a worst match than Hearns. Nothing Floyd has would beat Hearns and little Floyd luring Hearns into a brawl would be like suicide. Floyd isn't Hagler nor do he has Hagler's chin.

I think that Floyd out hustles the slower Forrest. Shane could not box. He had speed and some power, but Forrest outboxed him. Forrrest presents problems, but I just don't think he hits Floyd enough to win a decision.
