Forrest by clear decision. Don't see too much special about Thurman so far. Forrest has a big height and reach advantage, and is a much more complete and skilled technician. Not even sure Thurman has a power advantage.
Thurman is kind of a second rate Mosley. I think Forrest would be too classy for him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I feel like they're both guys who create an illusion of being pure boxers but have holes beneath the surface. If the opponent starts to exploit the holes, then they try to cover it up with aggression.
Ah, okay, when you put it like that. I thought you meant in terms of their mechanics, which I found hard to reconcile when pulling up images in my head of both in action. I guess both fall under the boxer-puncher umbrella (with Shane's brand personalized by Papa Jack and dubbed "power-boxing", really just fast slugging with some angles of movement and little use for the jab except as throwaway or diversion) but they don't look alike plying their respective trades. But, in a broader sense, what you said in your explanation about their habits is true enough of both. :good
