This would be an interesting fight for me. both fighters are
tall and fight somewhat similar even thogh Forrest has better
defense. I see forrest connecting power punches on Margo`s
chin with ease but I see Margo wearing down Forrest and
knocking him out in the late rounds. What do you think ?

Margarito, Forrest is troubled by unconventional fighters, and Margarito throws punches from different angles and actually has a very good punch variety, and can hit with power in either hand. I think Margarito would get a late TKO, the bodypunches would take Forrests legs away

Margarito. Forrest is too old for that relentless pressure Margarito brings.

Agreed. Forrest has a very predictable style, although it is very effective. Watching him against Mayorga I realized he was confused simply because Mayorga didnt really follow any pattern or gameplan, he just came straight at him throwing huge shots and absorbing everything he dished out.

I see Margarito just walking through his punches and relentlessly hammering at him and backing him up. He lands enough body punches he scores a TKO and likely will knock Vernon down once or twice. His legs arent quite what they were

I agree...people reference the Mayorga fight, but Vernon simply got caught. Boxing skill and speed would be a huge factor as well would Margo persumably moving up to Jr. Middle. Forrest has power...don't forget that he has been the only boxer to damn near stop Mosely. Use that for reference sometimes rather then Mayorga.

if its at 147 margarito stops him, at 154 margarito is nothing like the fighter he is at 147 and his chin is nowhere near as strong seen as he was rocked a few times against santos so definatelly going with forrest there

Santos beat Margarito so the superior Forrest certainly can if he shows up

    Agreed.

Prime Forrest was faster, stronger, and displayed a better skill-set inside the ring.

At this point, I cannot see Forrest keeping Margo off him for a full ten, let alone a full twelve.
