Once again. This is only assumption. I always said that Hearns is the only one of the Fab 4 to beat Floyd, the rest get schooled. But once again, we're talking about a Prime Hearns who made his career fighting at WW and above, against a Past Prime FMJ who made his career at Welterweight and Below. Not fair to compare them that way.

All depends on the opponent ..Floyd hasn't faced anyone in their prime that was as seasoned as the Viper ..Seasoned means having a great ameteur pedigree also has fought people that were. Lose to his skill set etc ..

Everyone acts as if its going to take an ACT OF GOD to lay a glove on him .

When He gets hit in every fight hes in .

I see it this way what fighter has floyd fought at WW that is as good as any of the recent great WW? he went the distance with a far past his prime oscar who hadnt fought in a year and got a split decision. i think if you score that fight honestly you have floyd winning 7 rounds to 5 at best. prime dlh beats floyd. a shot to hell moseley caught floyd early so the moseley that fought dlh twice problably beats him too. of cours this is all speculation and i dont think any of them dominate floyd but floyd would win some and he would lose some. i think the one guy that wouldve had a ton of trouble with floyd is trinidad. i think floyd boxes circles around him but floyd would have to absolutely make sure he does not get hit because at ww trinidad was one of the hardest punchers of all time. one left hook and its lights out.

Leonards own brother, the one that convinced him he could beat Hagler told him that he could not beat Floyd!

It's hard to say how this fight would have turned out had it happened, but I do know that Vernon was unlike anyone Floyd ever fought. Vernon's height, reach, jab, power at ww, and overall boxing ability are skills that Floyd never encountered In a single package in a professional boxing ring. The only fighter that comes close on Floyd's resume is the past prime oscar he fought. I guess you would have to favor Floyd given how their careers have turned out, but of course styles make fights and so it is conceivable that Vernon could have had the style to trouble and maybe overcome Floyd.
