were the three beasts of 147.... what complete badasses they all are in their own right, and all so unique from the other.

rewatching some of the fight, WOW.... i had forgotten mosley got beat up as bad as he did, wow.

Give him credit for taking that beating and making it to the finish.... lesser fighters probably would have found a place to fall in all of that.

 

Yes he lost to Ike IMO, no question, and props to ike no doubt.... but he was never the same fighter at 154... i dont really hold those losses against him too much, though i do think ike would have always given him some problems, i think head to head at their best forrest would have used his ability and mobility to win a decision. But ikes strength and durability will always give forrest problems imo....


People should go back and rewatch the first Mayorga fight too.... Forrest fights fire with fire there for a little while and does gives about as good as he gets for awhile, the guy would bang when he needed to, very complete fighter when he was at his best and at 147.
