With Paris, his personal life does effect what he does in the ring. He lost two victories to testing postive for drugs. I'm a big Paris fan but he needs to realize that many don't get the chances he has and he needs to be serious about his career.

I like Vernon Paris....what's not to like actually. He fights hard in the ring, and gives his all. Decent chin, fast hands and hella power.

Hope he gets a step up fight soon soas he can leave his troublemaking contemporaries in his past.

Vernon Paris-Matthysse would be a hell of a fight.

How is Vernons chin? Havent really seen much of him to rate it yet.

I think he meant Danny Garcia.

Mikey Garcia is 2 divisions below him and not fighting Kendall Holt next.

Paris is a Glass Jawed Fraud and he'll be exposed as soon as he fights someone with some pop. Coleman is as feather fisted as they come and he managed to drop him, so when you combine that sort of abysmal punch resistance with the fact that Paris is extremely hittable in close you have an accident waiting to happen.

I beg to differ. Coleman is no Ortiz but he has good punching power. Not to mention he is a very sneaky puncher.

Bull****, he has 5 KOs in 19 fights, he has no power, none. Paris is a China Chinned Hype Job and I called it the night he fought Coleman. When he steps up and fights someone with a punch, his Fragile Glass Mandible gets shattered violently.

His fight against Coleman was great and he's fun to watch. However, I don't like to see a guy not that good defensively in a Philly shell stance. A good pressure fighter would walk him down.

I thought he was lucky to beat Augustus to be honest, then impressed against Coleman. Something makes me think he needs to be pissed off to step up his game and...Coleman pissed him off.

Sergio Martinez has a 50% or below KO percentage and he is KOing MWs. Sometimes fighters just dont put full power behind shots to lessen the risk of being caught. Martinez just now started sitting on his punches and look at what he is doing to full grown MWs. Paris looked powerful as hell and from what i saw he is no Malignaggi.
