Jeez. Paris gets caught off balance, and touches his gloves down, and he's automatically a glass jawed fraud? Imagine what might have been said had he not come back to win the fight, scoring three knockdowns that were considerably more definitive in the process... As it stands, it was an excellent, extremely enjoyable fight; and made me want to see more of Paris...'glass jaw' or no.
Glass jaws exist in life. Boxers don't want them, but they boxers have them. They box. You'd never know who has one if they didn't box:rofl.
To be fair, he took a lot of flush shots he didn't see coming from a hard hitter before the end. Getting his ass kicked & stopped had more to do with a lack of speed & defense than a lack of chin. He isn't the most difficult guy in the world to hurt, though.
He was already been floored by Feather Fisted Tim Coleman and Judah had him hurt with every punch that landed flush. He was on ***** Street more times than Elton John in that fight. Paris has no Chin. None. So much for this fanboy notion that one can't possibly spot a Glass Jaw before it has been cracked!
Zab Judah glass body? Well, Paris launched strong blows to the body of Zab and i didn't see him hurt....
It isn't like Zab scored a prime-Tyson-like KO1 here... This fight exposed Paris as a) not being up to snuff on even a semi-elite level, and b) being a complete defensive ******, and having no idea what to do when hurt. It didn't really cement him as having no chin. He wouldn't have lasted as long as he did with no chin. It's certainly no better than average, but "glass" is overstating it.
he got shot in the head and lived and came back to box....where as your ***** ass would have **** your pants and died.
Did you not see him go down for the count to a body shot, from a Feather Fisted Fraud no less, that landed on the pit of the stomach? That was not a crushing hook to the liver or anything that should have had the sort of effect that it did because it wasn't placed well and it was Khan, a pitty-patty punching Joke, that landed it. Judah is still the Holy Trinity of Glass. Judah, while having good pop, is also not a Tyson-esque puncher at any weight. He doesn't one-shot guys with even decent Chins and yet everything he landed on Paris looked like it was about to tear his head off and send it into the nosebleed section. Tim Coleman does not KO anybody and yet he floored Paris with one glancing right hand. The man's Chin AND Skills are ****.
