yeah I think the commentary was pretty if not dumb, just annoying

 

They can't play in corner commentary in England. Against the rules, kinda like that no camera in the ring deal that happened at the end of the fight.

But I agree with all other points. Terrible job. They cut away with 4 and 5 seconds left in each round, the commentary was amatuerish. Bad.

Firstly I would like to applaud your network for picking up and showing this fight.

Your commentary and analysis is excellent and compares favorably to the bigger network coverage

I am though totally confused as to why you seem to cut each round short to go to commercials. Coverage of every round has ended with at least 10 seconds remaining.

I am not sure if your researchers have studied their demographic for broadcasts of this nature, but not only do we like to see the ENTIRE fight, we also like to see some of what goes on between rounds between the coaches and fighters.

I have never watched your network before today (I didn't even know it existed), so today you had the opportunity to increase your viewership.

The way you have covered the fight though leaves much to be desired.

They played corner commentary going into the final round. Heard Billy graham telling Ricky not to go for the KO

 

Yeah, but they can't put a mic in the corner like they can in the US. The only way to get any sound is through the camera mic.

 

The announcers, Nick and Wally, were shameful, and their commentary reeked of jealousy. Nick Charles is used to doing commentary from ballrooms with 550 fans, not 55,000 in stadiums. Wally Matthews is a fired NYC journalist who should stay fired.

Hatton dominated this fight, but these two ass-clowns chose to focus on the fact that he eats too many french fries...

 

Nick Charles isn't too shitty...he's not great or anything but he's okay. He can be carried by a better commentator.

Wally is absolute **** though.

 

You just PM me no when they disallow hometown officiating in England.
