That's easy, you automatically drop you're right as IBF Mandatory when you go for WBC. If Ward vacates the WBC, Froch could fight Anthony Dirrell in UK for the belt. The IBF can't make you take a fight, they penalize you if you do but only by not being in their top10 for about a year, meaning not get a shot at the champ for that long.

I understand this but this is not the point. If you take a fresh unproved challenger rather than a four years champion who you declared runs of you and that everyone expects you to fight what will be your reputation after?

In life there are things beyond money and formal wins.

And after all, what Froch could demand more if Bute is ready to go in his turf first, though he is the champion.

The last thing I heard was keeping the fight from being signed was that Bute wanted the fight in Manchester and Froch wanted the fight in Nottingham. There were probably other small things to.

Why not London ? O2 arena would be perfect for this.

This would be huge and should happen in the bigger arena (Manchester).

Don't forget, there are 100,000's of Romanians in the UK (most of them young men) so there could be a cracking atmosphere.

Respect to both camps if this deal gets done.
