Very disappointed in Steve Bunce

Can somebody find me the footage of SKY's crack team talking about Carl Froch before November 2010...let's be sensible, they were garbage and now they have improved. They admit this, trust me.

Please be fair to us. I watch Sky and I see Nelson, McGuigan, McCrory all be critical of fighters. I have yet to see you slate the match making on box nation. Remember Ed Robinson calling Robert Smith out on the BS of Cook fighting for the title?

The issue with Box Nation is they don't seem to realise there audience is far more educated than somebody watching on Sky/Setanta and channel 5. We know Karpency is ****, we don't need sugar coating.

Why not discuss the reasons why Cleverlys has not improved sicne the Murat fight. Is it due to his Dad not being a good enough trainer, or could a poor level of opponent mean he is going backwards?

Every Box Nation subscriber has heard your "Chad Dawson/Tarvois Cloud/Paul Williams fans all come in the same cab" skit 100 times but guess what every box nation subscriber would rather see Cleverly vs Cloud over Enzo Macceranelli.

Sky's boxing output was very, very poor; so much so that I cancelled it last year for the first time in nearly twenty years. It has upped it's game again recently, but this must be down to the new competition. This is a good thing for us fans. Buncey is right though, Sky are just as guilty (if not more) of talking up poor fights, remember all the weekly WBU and IBO 'World' title fights from a few years back!:tired

I still remember Adam Smith claiming Sky gave value for money on the Haye/Harrison farce.

Would the fight with Enzo be better? Yes, probably! Would it sell more tickets? Almost certainly! Would I rather see it? Yes! But will it mean more, or be 'bigger' on the world scene for Nathan? No.

 

thats true. sky werent exactly shouting about some of the good fights on setanta. they have seemed to have changed though, so its only fair to speak about the present

 

When i see Piper i'm always astonished by the size of his napper...HUGE!!

Anyway Buncey's sound, he knows the game inside out and knows most the fighters that he talks about on a personal level. He loves the sport and British fighters and shows no shame in telling you so. Good on him.

I just take into account he's working for fish-eyes and that they are trying to establish a new channel and a boxing channel at that. Something we've never had before.

Let's not forget how popular the boxing hour was. We got Buncey back on our screens yet some people aren't happy. If he has to tow the line a bit to get the channel were it needs to be then so be it.

Keep up the good work Buncey.

On Cloud v Enzo as opponent for NC. I know which one will do better business and that is, trust me, the main thing and it has always been the main thing.
