I think this part of boxing is really not taken in to consideration fighters today fail to rise to the occasion at the biggest stage when I mean the biggest stage I mean against ether Pacquaio or Mayweather were the lights shine harder and the focus is on you more then ever and the extensive media duties a fighter has to do when fighting one these fighters yes they lose to the best because they are not good enough but also part of being a great is riseing to the occasion and not letting the stage get to you. Like when Pacquaio was a 20-1 underdog against ledwaba never been in such a big stage before was called to fight this beast who was the best and everyone was avoiding(with 2 weeks notice as well) what did pac do did he crumble under the lights? He rose to the occasion very few fighters have it in them to rise to the occasion at the biggest stage against a formidable opponent many wilt to the pressure. Bradley "even the hardest guy from palm springs was nervous as hell when he fought Manny Pacquaio you are at the elite level of boxing"
Pacquiao has always been very relaxed and focused when he steps in that ring. Nothing fazes him. If you arn't nervous as hell about fighting Manny Pacquiao then you're a freak....or you are a bigger man with an iron jaw (Margarito) The only person Pacquiao probably gets nervous about is Marquez.
:hey pac always smiles coming into the ring you can tell he doesn't care some fighters walking in (not mentioning any names) look as if they are walking in to the jaws of death
mayweather gets really nervous before fights you can see it I remember seeing him in the locker room for mosley he was nervous as hell
